Born on 26 June 1972 in the Kirov region of Russia, Tanya Udras is one of the world’s foremost private collectors and a leading expert in decorative and applied arts.

Her journey began with studies in Library Science at the Moscow Institute of Culture, later expanding into Art History and Antiquities at the Gelos Auction House.

Over the past two decades, Tanya has built extraordinary collections, including Ural cast-iron art, Russian portrait miniatures, and glassworks, many of which she has generously donated to museums. Her contributions have saved countless unique and rare pieces from vanishing, preserving them for future generations.

A global figure in art preservation, Tanya divides her time between Russia, France, the UK, Italy, and other treasure-filled places. She collaborates with museums, participates in international conferences, and is currently pursuing her doctoral degree. Her intuition, extensive experience, and professional expertise have established her reputation as a true guardian of cultural heritage.
